DVGW Kongress 2024: Flagship event of the gas and water industry
On 17th and 18th September 2024 the annual flagship event of the gas and water industry DVGW Kongress 2024 (former GAT/WAT) will take place at Vienna House by Windham Andel’s in Berlin.
ERIG will be there and present its projects DelHyVEHR, Hy2Market, HIGGS and MefHySTO at the DVGW-Lounge.
The dialogue-oriented structure and the mix of topics from the fields of politics, science and technology will remain unchanged.
”The DVGW Kongress will continue the function and tradition of the leading congress in Germany for the transformation of the energy supply and the resilience of the water supply in the face of climate change”, DVGW Chairman of the Executive Board Prof Dr Gerald Linke assesses the proven concept under a new name.
The topics range from hydrogen generation paths, the implementation of a future H2 market design and integrated network planning to municipal heat planning and the use of hydrogen in industry, as well as issues relating to H2 imports and transport. The congress formats thus cover the entire value chain in this emerging market.
Leading representatives from federal and state ministries will provide evidence of the necessary political and technical decisions to maintain a high level of supply security in the face of advancing climate change.
The DVGW Kongress can be visited on 17th and 18th September in Berlin. The face-to-face event will also be supplemented this year by an additional online programme from 27th August to 12th September 2024.
