This year’s ERIG Workgroup summit will take place from 30th June to 1st July 2025 in the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in Brussels.

At the summit the ERIG Topic Groups

Smart Energy Systems and Renewable & Decarbonised Gas

will meet to work out the strategic direction and actions for the coming year.

In addition to these existing Topic Groups we would like to launch new innovation groups such as CCU/S, Regional Clusters and Liquid Hydrogen.

• CCU/S will bring together leading industry and research partners of our Country Members Norway, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland to engage in public funded EU projects on this topic.
• The new group Regional Clusters offers the opportunity to facilitate exchange between the leaders of the regional clusters and our experts
  in the ERIG Topic Groups.
• We also want to use this occasion to set up an innovation group on the topic of Liquid Hydrogen. The aim of the group is to connect the leading industry and research partners of the DelHyVEHR and NavHyS and VHYTTA projects with key stakeholders of the Country Members in ERIG (Norway, Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland) to engage in public funded European projects on the topic.

During the summit we will all work together to set priorities for the own Topic Group and engage with the members from the other Topic Groups to contribute to the overall common approach in support of the European energy transition. There will be room for networking and knowledge exchange in break-out-sessions and the evening dinner.
