On the 22nd of March, in conjunction with the Kick-off of the Project Hy2Market and SuperP2G, ERIG organised an evening policy talk on the topic of “The relevance of P2G and regional development in the energy crisis”.
Our distinguished panel comprised of Prof. Marie Münster (Technical University of Denmark), Hortense Lutz-Hermellin (S3 Hydrogen Value Platform, Auvergne-Rhon-Alpes), Thea Larsen (Ready4H2, EVIDA, DGC), Catrinus Jepma (Hy2Market, New Energy Coalition) and Prof. Gerald Linke (ERIG, DVGW) had a discussion on:
- How can regional hydrogen projects help mitigate some of the challenges and help reaching the climate objectives?
- How can already existing natural gas infrastructure help support this?
- And what are the current understanding from research to the conditions under which renewable hydrogen would outcompete natural gas in the current market?
