The Workgroup Summit 2020 online was a success

Like every year, the ERIG Workgroup Summit 2020 took place in December from the 7th to the 11th. Due to Covid-19 it was an online event.

The annual ERIG Workgroup Summit took place from December 7-11, 2020, as an online event with a series of individual web sessions. The participants gathered to look back at a year of numerous activities within the research network. All working groups have made substantial progress in teambuilding and applying for calls, during the year and have ambitious agendas for 2021. The teams are also well prepared to tackle the upcoming calls in Horizon Europe. 2020 has also been a year of strengthening the organisation resources in ERIG, as such.

This year’s “ERIG Moletron Trophy” went to the “Renewable & Decarbonised Gas” Core Team under the leadership of Prof. Dimosthenis Trimis from the Engler-Bunte Institute at KIT Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The virtual discussion tables in the closing session were hosted by the projects MefHySto, HIGGS and SuperP2G where ERIG is partner for communication and dissemination. At the tables, the ERIG members could listen to the presentation and discuss the projects.
